WE RESIST
THROUGH ART

Art is a crucial part of our movement and expression. We express ourselves through performances, chants, posters and displays at the march. Our art is collective, born out of collective labour and owned by the movement!

BY RECLAIMING
THE STREETS

We began occupying the streets under the banner of Aurat March to honour the longstanding tradition of feminists marking international women’s day on 8 March. Since then, we have marched each year, on 8 March and beyond, to mark our protest, anger and resistance.

THROUGH OUR
MANIFESTOS

Our movement is rooted in feminist thought and a vision of collective liberation for all. Throughout the years, we’ve articulated our vision through our charter of demands, manifestos and statements.
